
Wes Freeman is a professional musician with over 30 years of guitar, vocal, and other instrument experience in numerous settings: from for-profit to non-profit, public to religious sector, service industry to teaching, commissioned compositions, leading and playing in bands and ensembles, gigging, videos, weddings, and more. He has been spotted in everything from Facebook live to professional studio recordings on a variety of guitars (acoustic, electric, classical, bass), vocals, and other instruments (keyboard, ukulele), on a wide range of genres and styles including classical, pop rock, jazz, country, covers, wedding music, to name a few.
Wes’s insatiable curiosity about the inner workings of music theory, along with his cross training in modern and classical styles, gives him a unique passion for bringing a fresh perspective to classic tunes.
He obtained his Bachelor of Arts at Asbury University, where he studied music theory and composition, guitar, and vocal performance. Wes also graduated with honors from the Atlanta Institute of Music with a Certificate in Guitar Musicianship. In his free time, he leads a decades-long successful music teaching business and enjoys spending time with his wife and pet bird. You might even find him playing an old Nintendo game or two in between gigs.
